New goodies from our development team: we are pleased to announce the general availability of SLASCONE 4.2, highlighting the following features:
- Tags
- You can now define and assign tags to customers and licenses. Although, classifying customers and licenses has already been possible through the built-in customer type and license type filter, the tagging functionality provides an additional option which provides increased flexibility and visibility in the UI.

- Floating Licenses
- The floating (also known as concurrent) licensing model is a viable model used by several software vendors. In a floating scenario, a license with n tokens allows n clients to be active simultaneously. The n+1 client has to wait until a client disconnects in order to use the software. SLASCONE now provides a very flexible floating license functionality.

- Consumption-based Limitations
- Until now limitations in SLASCONE had been static, meaning that the client application has been responsible for monitoring and enforcing usage/compliance. Now a limitation can be defined as consumption-based, with the option to reset periodically. For example, a license allows the creation of 10 documents monthly, or 5 documents before going into paying mode. SLASCONE tracks the consumption of this quota and informs the client when the quota is depleted.

- Tabular view and csv/xls Export
- Analytics are primarily chart-oriented. However, you now have the option to browse the underlying data as a data and to export them as csv or xls.
