- Session Analytics – Overusage
- SLASCONE 8.0 now supports token/session overusage in floating license scenarios, enabling pricing based on actual peak usage. The new Session Analytics Dashboard provides insights into:

- Maximum number of concurrent sessions, highlighting peaks and potential overusage.

- Multi Portal – Switching Roles
- Until now, a SLASCONE account (email address) could not be used for more than one role. With this update, you can now use the same account across multiple roles, unlocking new flexibility:
- Access both development and production systems with a single account.
- Seamlessly switch between roles such as vendor, reseller, or customer portal user.
- Act as a Customer Administrator for multiple customers with the same account.

- Simplified Preactivation for offline scenarios
- We’ve streamlined the preactivation process. Instead of relying on a generic extra variable, you can now use the out-of-the-box “preactivation client-id” field when saving the license, or activate a token after the generation of a license.

- License activation for cloud scenarios
- There are many scenarios in which an activation takes place when creating a license (without customer intervention). You can now use the license_id as the unique identifier for the activation, expanding the previous options of token_key, customer_number and customer_email.
- Backup xml policy
- While SLASCONE ensures 99.95% availability, we’ve enhanced disaster recovery measures by introducing parallel storage for license files. This allows you to easily download backup XML files for added security.
