  • 2-Step Offline Activation
    • Activation of a completely offline installation, has now become easier, since next to a preactivation, we now offer a 2-step process. The 2-step activation is a hybrid mode, enabling an activation through a “proxy” device, which has connection to the internet. In this scenario, not one, but two xml files are necessary.

    • The product analytics area is available for resellers too, enabling them to perform the same data analysis for their end-customers.
    • You are now able to restrict the access of specific resellers to products and editions.

    • A new view provides an overview of the heartbeats that were generated after a software update, thus providing a software update log.

  • Import/Export of Product Definitions
    • Typically, you want to develop and test your SLASCONE integration in a development system before moving into production. In order to facilitate this, SLASCONE provides an export/import mechanism for the product definition. This mechanism ensures that the IDs of the created entities remain the same.

  • Improvements of Consumption-based Scenarios
    • Goodwill: A typical requirement in consumption-based scenarios is the ability to allow an overconsumption, or goodwill. In SLASCONE you can define this in percent. A limitation of 10 combined with a 20% goodwill, means that a consumption of up to 12 is allowed but not more.
    • Rollback: It is now possible to rollback a consumption heartbeat. This ability is crucial for long and/or asynchronous tasks.

  • Nuget Package for .NET Integrations
    • SLASCONE follows a zero footprint philosophy. Being a Web API, it can be consumed by any programming language. However, we now offer a nuget package for our .NET clients.
