The allocation of license seats is determined by the specific license type, as outlined below:

  • Named device licenses: 1 token = 1 license seat
  • Floating device licenses: 1 token = 3 license seats (3x factor)
  • Named users licenses: 1 user = 1 license seat
  • Floating user licenses: 1 user 3 license seats (3x factor)

Only active (non-expired) licenses are counted toward the total number of license seats, irrespective of
license type.
